Make your own Muesli

Gluten Free Muesli (Image and recipe adapted from Nutritionstripped.com)

PACKED WITH NUTS FOR EXTRA PROTEIN

Ingredients

170g/6oz rolled oats

170g/6oz quinoa flakes

170g/6oz buckwheat flakes

85g/3oz puffed rice flakes

85g/3oz almonds, chopped

85g/3oz pumpkin seeds

85g/3oz Brazil nuts, chopped

85g/3oz hazel nuts, chopped

40g / 2oz dried unsweetened coconut flakes

40g / 2oz sunflower seeds

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon of nutmeg

 

In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until every ingredient is distributed in the mix.

Store in an airtight container, jars, or bags for later use at room temperature.

Serve with cold or warm whole-milk. Try nut milks or rice milk for added variety.
