Kalila Community is launching its first bilingual summer camp for kids ages 6-11 years focused on empowering kids to become the leaders of the future.

Each week, our camp will focus on a specific theme, introducing kids to relevant topics on today’s global issues. Our campus has the overall goal of enabling children to think independently and develop projects from the initial planning phases through to completion.

Each week, campers will have a project to complete related to the theme of the camp. In addition to daily Yoga, English and creative projects such as art, dance and games, we will visit professional working in the field, so as to be introduced to real world role models. Campers will be expected to prepare for these visits in advance as a group, allowing them to take part in the experience.

In order to meet Kalila Community’s goal of enhancing the local community, our camp will be accessibly priced. We want to be affordable for families from all backgrounds, as we believe our camp should be available to children from all economic realities.

The themes for each week are as follows:

Week 1 – Science & Technology

Week 2 – Our bodies; Our planet

Week 3 – Civic Duty

Week 4 – Politics & Governance
