Are you a new mom or a new dad? Do you have doubts, questions, need support or simply a space to be welcomed and listened to?
Becoming a parent is one of the most significant experiences in a person’s life. It is a crucial step that leads to the birth of three new individuals: a child, a father and a mother.
Yes, because where a child is born, a parent is also born. All too often this aspect is underestimated and one is led to believe that everything natural is also simple. This is not so and admitting it means having the courage to say to yourself “I need help in this delicate phase of life”.
Pregnancy is a time of change not only for the body but also for the mind of the woman and consequently also for the man. The mother must make room in her womb, the man must make room in his mind, the couple must make room in their home for a new life. Raising a child is wonderful but at the same time tiring. I call it the beauty of ambivalence.
I support new mothers and new fathers to protect and safeguard that fertile ground in which the individual takes root. That soil is called childhood. I support children and their parents to make sure that a good relationship is fostered, because that relationship will be the map that will guide and orient that child in the world.
About Arianna Terrana
I’m a Psychologist, specifically Perinatal Psychologist. So I deal with everything that concerns the wonderful world of childhood and the relationship between parents and children since conception. My goal is to make accessible the fundamental knowledge that comes from neuroscience and the clinic, to parents who every day with love strive to be the best.
I am trained in PsychoNeuroEndocrineImmunology (P.N.E.I.) because I believe in the wonderful complexity of the human being as a union of mind and body. I commit myself every day to work in a team because for me diversity is synonymous with richness.
I see the child as a scientist who observes the world with wonder every day. I see the parent as the master of that child, as the biological scaffolding of his dreams.
I only pose myself as a facilitator, not to teach but to support the difficult job of being parents.
